National level Seminars and International Level Conferences Organized by the College:

  1. A student seminar “Women Narrators in Post 1960s Fiction” was organized on 30th October 2018 by the Department of English under the guidance of teacher coordinators Ms. Anchala Paliwal and Ms. Chaandreyi Mukherjee.
  2. One-day Seminar on Sanskrit Patrakarita was organized on March 16, 2018 by the Department of Sanskrit. Dr. Manaswami Yogi, Associate Professor in IP College and Dr. Jyoti Raj were the resource person.
  3. The department of English organized a “2-day National students’ seminar “Heart of Queerness” on 4th-5th November 2019 as part of college’s ongoing golden jubilee celebrations.
  4. One-day National seminar on “Food and Culture of North-East: Solutions to Sustainable Development” was organized on 22nd August 2019 in collaboration with Petronet India Private Limited.
  5. Department of Hindi organized a two-day National Seminar on “Kamkaji Mahila Sahitya mein banta Itihaas” on 17th-18th January 2020.
  6. Department of Mathematics organized a one-day seminar on 29th January 2020 on the topic “The Universe and Mathematical Cosmology” by Dr. Shibesh Kumar.
  7. Gandhi Study Circle organized a One-day National Seminar on “Gandhi and Ambedkar: Contemporary Perspective” on 31st January 2020.
  8. A two-days National Seminar on “The Saga of Food: Politics, Aesthetics and Technology” was organized by IQAC and Department of Food Technology on 13th-14th March 2019. It was supported by IRCTC.
  9. A 3-day International Conference on “Perspectives on Peace and Sustainable Development in a World of Conflict” was organized between 13th-15th February 2020. Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi was the chief guest of the conference. The conference was sponsored by were ICSSR and ONGC.
