Keeping in mind the holistic development of young women and their empowerment through skillbuilding in today‗s challenging world,the college runs several Add-on programs. These programsenhance career opportunities and open new avenues for the young women,especially those whocome from disadvantaged backgrounds but have the determination to make a mark in life.

• Certificate Course in German Language
• Diploma Course in German Language

Hindi Patrakarita is a UGC-funded 4-month certificate program. The program aims at acquainting the students with the technicalities of journalism, both print and electronic media, and to hone their skills for a prospective career in the same field. Noted media persons and faculty members from within and outside the college deliver the lectures. The duration of the program is 4 months, comprising 24 lectures. The classes are held twice a week, each class spanning 90 minutes. Eligibility is 10+2 from a recognized educational board. Students from School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non- Collegiate Women‗s Education Board (NCWEB) can also apply for the program. The fee shall be informed later.

Certificate & Diploma Programs in German Language*: The College offers a self- financed, part- time Certificate Program and a Diploma Program in German language. The programs provide skill knowledge to its students and enhance their employability. These programs are affiliated to the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi and are run as per official guidelines received. The programs are run in the annual mode with an annual exam as per the University of Delhi schedule. Successful students receive their certification documents from the college office – as and when issued by the University of Delhi.

Candidates who have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with an aggregate of at least 45% marks are eligible to apply. Total number of seats are limited to 60 and admission shall be made in order of merit based on marks in 10+2. The classes are held in the afternoon after regular classes. A total of 6 hours in a week will be held.

Diploma Program will be offered only to the students who have completed the Certificate Program in German Language.

Notification regarding admission to these courses will be displayed on the College Notice Board and College website in the month of August tentatively.

Legal Awareness is another short-term add-on program that the college runs in collaboration with the Delhi State Legal Authority (DSLA) from time to time.
