About the Course
Aims and Objectives-
The aim of this course is to provide skill knowledge to its students that will enhance their employability.
Framework of the course-
- This is a self-financed course run in accordance with the official guidelines of the University of Delhi and is affiliated to the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi.
- It is a part time course and is run in annual mode.
- The course is open to both students of the college and outsiders for admission.
- The examinations are held as per the University of Delhi schedule at the end of the course and only successful students will receive their certification documents issued by the University of Delhi.
Eligibility-
Candidates who have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with an aggregate of at least 45% marks are eligible to apply.
Course Learning Outcomes-
This course is aimed to provide fundamental or beginner level understanding of German language to students. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Attain A1 and partial A2 level of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in the German language.
- Provide a foundation for students to undertake intermediate and higher level course in German language.
- Develop intercultural competence.
- Improve their employability skills.
